In honor of Black history month....
In honor of black history month, I went and saw the movie Norbit. It really changed my perspectives on things, particularly eddie murphy. I mean whatever happened to the funny one from Coming to America? Now he has been downgraded to playing obese sassy black women who have an addiction to fried food and jelly doughnuts. And Eddie Griffith, well, I know he is just celebrating "heritage," but can someone name me a movie where he never played a pimp, or a character who dresses like one? Spoiler Alert! While I'm sure all 3 of you who read this have already seen Norbit, but I don't want to give away the epic ending. But I am. The black people except Norbit (who is really white on the inside) are chased out of town, spurring memories of what happened a lot during the civil rights movement and ultimately made me think, MLK JR was a baller. So Tomorrow, my teacher cancelled class. AWESOME For my Thursday Classes, both of them CANCELLED CLASS! No more classes the rest of the week! SIQQ! But I have to work and finish a report, so bummer. But I shall go to Busch Gardens! |

Solid
A week ago, this spring break (aka this week) looked like nothing but me clocking in at work everyday, except for the inevitable day(s) that I would call in sick. However, I am now going to Disney World tomorrow to chill with an old homie from CT. and I'm gettin in for free thanks to some family connections at the park (Word up to the Uncles) and 2 other homies from outs of the states are also in town and shall get proper chillin time. Since I'm feeling all awesome right now and mr. popular like (Ladies, this is your chance), I give you my schedule for the week: I have to go and work Thursday and Friday from at least 10am-4pm. Give me hollas (and dollas if ye feeling generous) if you'd like to hang out any other time and we shall throw it in. I will hang out with all reservations already made (Casey & Wilsons, this means you!) Also Jim Gaffigan's Dvd is hilarious I just got it in the mail. |

Another miracle with Duct Tape.
So my car's oil light kept lighting up yesterday during traffic. So I pop the hood and I see the cap to the engine (where you pour the oil in, basically) was missing. Oil was spilt on some of the stuff, which isn't too good. All the auto-parts stores were closed so as a cap, My dad and I used some duct tape and bungi chords. And it Worked Perfectly! The duct tape was some kind of uber form that could tolerate high temperatures. Duct Tape: The tape holding white trash (and suburban losers like myself) since.....lets say 88 |
